About PRECORA v1.0
PREcious CORal Aquaculture Dataset v1.0
The PRECORA v1.0 dataset serves as an increasingly comprehensive resource for the aquaculture of Melithaea, Diodogorgia, Corallium, Hemicorallium, and Pleurocorallium semiprecious and precious octocoral species. It compiles predicted and established water and husbandry parameters essential for cultivating these octocorals. This dataset supports targeted aquacultural development in coastal regions by encouraging precious and semiprecious aquaculture to replace wild-harvested materials. With PRECORA, researchers, museums, and aquarists can access vital information to advance sustainable practices across multiple industries.
