About PRECORA v1.0

PREcious CORal Aquaculture Dataset v1.0

The PRECORA v1.0 dataset is intended to serve as an increasingly comprehensive resource for the aquaculture of MelithaeaDiodogorgiaCorallium, Hemicorallium, and Pleurocorallium semiprecious and precious octocoral species. It compiles predicted and established water and husbandry parameters essential for cultivating these octocorals. This dataset will support targeted aquacultural development in coastal regions by encouraging precious and semiprecious coral aquaculture to replace wild-harvested materials. With PRECORA, researchers, museums, and aquarists will be able to access vital information to advance sustainable practices across multiple industries. The PRECORA (v1.0) dataset will soon be available to download for free.
